The young practitioner's forum is a valuable and long standing part of the OTA annual meeting. We plan to focus entirely on young clinicians and teach them strategies to deal with the problems that are unique to early practice. There is no other place within the annual meeting that this is done. Our topics will include career planning, negotiating with your health system, understanding the cost of implants, and finding a job among others.

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Develop and understanding of the trails and tribulations encountered in all settings of early orthopaedic trauma practice.
Learn strategies to address these issues from experienced faculty.
Develop relationships with mentors and peers that can help advance your career.
